You Don't Have to Hold It All | A Song for the Weary Heart by Grace Harmonies

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
I'll be honest with you. This song is exactly how I feel right now.
Some seasons, it feels like I'm carrying everything on my own shoulders. The shop. The bills. The dreams God put in my heart. The questions about where all of this is going. I keep trying to hold it all together, to figure it all out, to make it all work.
And then this song comes in like a whisper from the Lord: "You don't have to hold it all."

Where I am right now
I've learned that I can be faithful and tired at the same time. I can believe God and still feel the weight. Maybe you know that feeling too: you're still showing up, still praying, still serving, but inside you're stretched thin.
Jesus never asked us to carry it all. He asked us to come to Him.
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:29-30 (KJV)
His yoke is light because He's the one pulling the weight. My part is to walk beside Him, not to drag the whole load alone.
Letting go, one thing at a time
So today, I'm choosing to put things down. Not giving up, but handing over. The shop is His. The dreams are His. The future is His. I'm His.
"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." Psalm 55:22 (KJV)
"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
If you're carrying too much today, try this with me: name the things you're holding, one by one, and say, "Jesus, I give You this." Then press play and let this song wash over you.

Through Jesus, the blessing God spoke over Abraham is yours too:
"That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:14 (KJV)
So right now, in the name of Jesus, I speak this blessing over you:
May the Lord bless you and make your name great, and may you be a blessing to everyone around you (Genesis 12:2). May you be blessed in the city and blessed in the field, blessed in your home and in your work, blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out (Deuteronomy 28:3-6). May the work of your hands prosper, may your family be covered, and may God's favour go before you everywhere you step.
"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: the LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: the LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace." Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV)
Declare this over your life today
I do not have to hold it all. I cast all my cares on Jesus, because He cares for me. (1 Peter 5:7)
I am not alone. God is with me. He strengthens me, helps me and upholds me with His righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
My God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
No weapon formed against me shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)
I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. (Deuteronomy 28:13)
I prosper and I am in health, even as my soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)
I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me. (Romans 8:37)
His grace is enough for me. His strength is made perfect in my weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. (Psalm 23:6)
Say it out loud. Say it again tomorrow. His Word is true, and Amen!
Rest a little longer

Psalmist has never been about the money. Yes, we need funds and we work hard, like everyone does. But every day we get to choose: to focus on this world, or to focus on the Word. We choose the Word.
You don't have to hold it all. He's holding you.
